Documentation: Lossless Image Optimization

CheetahO supports lossless image compression type. Lossless optimization means that your images will get compressed to some extent without changing their informational value in any way whatsoever.

The file weight is usually in the 15%-20% range smaller, however, sometimes greater savings can be achieved. Especially where images have uniformly colored backgrounds and/or pack lots of metadata.

CheetahO image compression use technologies where image weight will be reduced without changing a single pixel. To use this optimization type, you need to set  "compression": "lossless"

Most users are using lossy image optimization type. We recommend trying this image completion type also.
